I’m on the Quixotic quest to make a living at writing. When I first began, I had to use the phrase “make a living” loosely–but now I’m writing full-time and finding that living-by-writing is, indeed, a lively possibility!
I’m now picking up an eclectic variety of freelance gigs, averaging 10,000 words a day for satisfied clients, and am always ready for a fresh challenge.
- Great writer to work with. Tremendous feedback and definitely exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to work with this writer again. Professional. Responsive.
That’s my most recent review, from adventure-photographer Ty Sawyer, who commissioned me to write a 45,000-word piece on dive sites around the world to accompany his photos.
The internet is a marvelous “place”–I can find clients, you can find the writer you need, and PayPal makes it easy to conclude the transaction. If you have a project in mind, please give me a holler with the contact-form below–I’m at your service!
Need a Writer? Tell me about it:

Here I am hard at work (no, seriously) on some freelance articles for a UK car-hire company. Any questions why I'd like to keep working from this "office" space? ;)

I figure as long as we can keep the electricity from getting shut off, I can keep writing… And if the Power Co did unplug my iPad, maybe I still remember how to use paper. ;)

That’s funny. I write my blog completely from either my iPad and or iPhone if I am away from the iPad. Paper and pen(cil)s are a bit anchient which is a craft thing to say. In class I am afraid to take notes on my iPhone because I feel they think I’m on Facebook or something like that but maybe it’s just me. I always tell my teacher I’m just taking notes ok. ;)

Same here. I’m always looking for a good writing “gig” while I’m in college and always looking for connections to jobs for when I get done with school.

Great idea to add this tab [: I’m hoping to follow a similar path as yours. Who needs money when you can travel?

I have just started working as a freelance writer as well. Wish I had an office space like the one you’re pictured in. Lots of natural light and very spacious indeed :)

Kana –
I love your upbeat approach and voice. I like your office, too.
Thanks for visiting my site and subscribing. I’m thinking that you are a Jane Austen fan too? (Seriously, what writer isn’t?)
